Major Ezra7 Whitney (Oliver6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Oliver6 and Dorcas (Forbush) Whitney, was born 29 Mar 1763, Upton, MA,[1] and died 10 Mar 1847, Upton, MA, aged 84 years.[2]

He married firstly, 29 Apr 1784, Upton, MA, Mary Forbush,[3] daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Parker) Forbush. She was born 11 Aug 1760, Upton, MA, and died before 1801.

Marriage intentions were published 20 Mar 1801, Upton, MA, for him and Miss _____ _____.[4] He "of Upton" married secondly, 1 Jun 1801, Holliston, MA, Olive Bullard,[5] daughter of Isaac and Beulah (Leland) Bullard. She was born 10 Jul 1761, Holliston, MA, and died 19 May 1846, Upton, MA, aged 84 years.[6]

His will was presented for probate 9 Sep 1846, and allowed May, 1847. Jono. Bradish was executor. He was second major in a Worcester regiment during the Revolutionary war. He resided Upton, MA.

Children of Ezra7 and Mary (Forbush) Whitney:

i. Hepsibeth8 Whitney, b. ca. 1784; m. 5 Apr 1809, Upton, MA, Josiah Stearns;[7] resided Holden, MA. She died Oct. 11, 1836, Holden, MA, aged 52 years. Children:

b. Harriett Stearns, b. -----; m. ----- Brown.
ii. Polly Whitney, b. ca. Dec 1785; d. 26 Jul 1874, Upton, MA, aged 87 years 7 months, of old age, unmarried, housekeeper.
iii. Dorcas Whitney, b. ca. Mar 1788; d. 1 Oct 1860, Upton, MA, aged 72 years 7 months, of old age, unmarried, housekeeper.[8] She made her will Jan. 10, 1851. It was probated 3 Sep 1861. Polly, her sister, was mentioned. Aaron Partridge was executor.

Ezra7 and Olive (Bullard) Whitney had no known children.
