Family:Whitney, Ezra (1790-1848)

Ezra⁷ Whitney (James⁶, Ezra⁵, James⁴, John³, Jonathan², John¹), son of James⁶ and Ruth (Knapp) Whitney, was born Jan 1790, Woodstock, CT, and died Aug 1848.

He married, say 1815, Lucy Waters, daughter of Jonathan and Mary (Parkhurst) Waters. She was born 28 Jul 1791, Pomfret, CT, and died 15 Feb 1866, Worcester, MA, aged 74 years 7 months 17 days, of consumption.^[1]

He resided Abington, CT.

iv.	Elizabeth Lucy Whitney, b. 24 Apr 1827; d. 20 Dec 1907, Worcester, MA, aged 80 years 7 months 26 days, of acute bronchitis;[4] m. 24 Dec 1848, Samuel A. Pratt, b. 16 Jan 1822; resided 1 High St. Worcester, MA. Children: a. Marion Elizabeth Pratt, b. 1 Sep 1852; m. 18 Nov 1869, Harlan B. Pierce, b. 22 Sep 1847; resided 8 Hancock St. Worcester, MA. b.
