Family:Whitney, Francis (1599-1643)
Francis Whitney (Thomas), son of Thomas and Mary (Bray) Whitney,[1] was baptized 27 Jan 1598/9 at St. Margaret's, Westminster, England,[2] and was buried 26 Aug 1643 at St. Margaret's, Westminster.[3]
He married, perhaps not far from 1625, Elizabeth -----, parentage and birth data unknown. She was buried at St. Margaret, Westminster, 15 January 1670[/1].[4]
On 22 May 1637, he and his brother Robert Whitney were appointed adminstrators of their father's estate.
In her will, Elizabeth requested that she be buried "by her husband and two children at the west end of the new Chappel by the greate window" (Dean and Chapter of Westminster 6:48).[5]

Notes
There is a marriage recorded at St. Margaret's, Westminster, on 14 Oct 1630 of a Francis Whitly to Elizabeth Marsh. It is possible that this is the marriage of the above Francis Whitney, with a scribal error.[6]
