Francis Whitney, parentage unknown, born say 1640, died sometime after he wrote his will 12 Sep 1708 and before it was probated 18 Aug 1709.

He was a clothier and resided Woodmancote, Dursley Parish, Gloucestershire, England.

He married Mary -----.

ii.	James Whitney, bp. 11 May 1664, Dursley, Gloucester, England, son of "Francis Whitney".
iii.	George Whitney, bp. 31 Jan 1665, Dursley, Gloucester, England, son of "Francis & Mary Whitney". George Whitney had a daughter Mary Whitney, under age 20 in 1708.
iv.	Robert Whitney, bp. 28 Jul 1671, Dursley, Gloucester, England, son of "Frances_ & Mary Whitney".
v.	Charles Whitney, bp. 2 Sep 1674, Dursley, Gloucester, England, son of "Francesse_ & Mary Whitny". Charles Whitney had a son Francis Whitney in 1708.
