Family:Whitney, Francis (s1803-?)

Francis⁶ Whitney (Jonathan⁵, Matthias⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), son of Jonathan⁵ and Olive (Cady) Whitney, was born say 1803.

He married, date and place unknown, Hannah Edwards, daughter of Eli and Hannah (?Wilsey?) Edwards. She was born between 1800 and 1810, and died after 1840.

They were living in Delaware County, Ohio as late as 1840 when her father referred in a deed to the corner of land deeded to Hannah Whitney.

i.	Thomas7 Whitney, b. 21 Jul 1830, Delaware Co., OH; m.(1) Elizabeth Komp; m.(2) Rosanna (Sine) Blakely.

Notes

Hannah (Edwards) Whitney may be the Hannah Whitney who married, 20 Feb 1839, Delaware Co., OH, Samuel Faulkenburgh. That couple have not been found in the 1840 or 1850 censuses.
