He married firstly, 5 Nov 1895, Minden, NE, Emma Moore,^[3] daughter of Darius and Caroline (Shriver) Moore. She was born Sep 1870, Tyler Co., WV, and died 12 Mar 1937, Tacoma, WA. She was buried in Mountain View Memorial Park, Lakewood, WA.^[4] Apparently they were divorced. She married secondly, 16 Sep 1908, Tacoma, WA, William Huber Slusser (1871-1940).^[5]

He married secondly, 14 Jul 1912, Nellie Arnilla (Gilbertson) Skeels, daughter of Nels and Mary (Halvorson) Gilbertson. She was born 1873, Emmitt Co., IA, and died 12 Dec 1938, Kirkland, WA.^[6] She had married firstly, 20 Nov 1891, Emmittsburg, IA, Laurwell Skeels (1866-1949). Apparently Skeels and she were divorced.

He married thirdly, 5 Oct 1940, Pierce Co., WA, Emma Gilbertson,^[7] daughter of Edward and Christina (Holt) Gilbertson. She was born 7 Sep 1870, Oslo, Norway, and died 22 Sep 1960, Bremerton, WA.^[8]
