Franklin Barnard9 Whitney (Barnard8, Moses7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Barnard8 and Lydia (Buell) Whitney, was born 20 Oct 1839, Marlboro, VT,[1] and died 8 Jan 1895, Greenfield, MA, aged 57 years 2 months 19 days, of nephritis.[2] He was buried in Green River Cemetery, Greenfield, MA.[3]
He "of Wilmington, Vt." married, 6 Sep 1860, Greenfield, MA, Mary Eliza Thayer, of Greenfield, daughter of Lyman and Emeline (Potter) Thayer.[4] She was born 10 May 1840, Greenfield, MA, and died 1 Apr 1913, Northampton State Hospital, Northampton, MA, recorded at Greenfield, MA, aged 72 years 10 months 21 days, of cerebral hemorrhage.[5] She was buried in Green River Cemetery, Greenfield, MA.[6]
He was a carpenter. He resided in Brattleboro, VT, in 1863.
