George7 Whitney {Daniel6, Micah5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Daniel6 and Eunice (Marsh) Whitney, was born 11 Jan 1785, Chesterfield, NH,[1] died 30 Jul 1866, Berlin, Erie Co., OH, and was buried in Baptist Cemetery.

He married firstly, date unknown, Clarissa ------, parentage unknown. She was born 10 May 1788, unknown location, died 28 Jan 1835, Berlin, Erie Co., OH, and was buried in Baptist Cemetery.

He married secondly, 7 Sep 1835, Huron Co., OH, Eliza Smith, parentage unknown. She was born c1786, MA, died 12 Dec 1875, Berlin, Erie Co., OH, and was buried in Baptist Cemetery.

Children, if any, are unknown, but are likely based upon the census records.

Notes

The headstone of George reflects a DOB of 11 Jan 1783. The fact that this is exactly 2 years prior to the birth record is very suspicious and may reflect an error by his descendent(s) or the stone cutter.
