George Whitney (George W.), son of George and Electa (Mesnard) Whitney, was born circa 1822, NY, and died after 1888, possibly 1902 in Methodist nursing home, Bronx, NY. (See Note below.)
The George Whitney / Ella Wooten marriage "Return" #1166 has his mother's name as, "Elecha Maynard" (Is this a phonetic spelling of Electa Mesnard?).

NOTE 13SEP16: The above 1902 death date and place is most-like incorrect. The death certificate has his birthplace as Massachusetts. Massachusetts George Whitney was b. the same year as the one of concern and also lived in NYC.
