He married, about 1859, Mary Jane Carr. She was born about 1840, Ireland, and died after 1880.
He served in the Civil War as a Private in Co. A, 1st Massachusetts Cavalry, from 1 Dec 1863 to 26 Jun 1865.
In 1870 he was a moulder living in Chicopee, MA.
