Family:Whitney, Hephzibah (c1763-c1796)

Hephzibah⁵ Whitney (Henry⁴, Henry³, John², Henry¹), son of Henry⁵ and Elizabeth (Lobdell) Whitney, was born about 1763, Ridgefield, CT, and died Feb 1795 or 1796, Hempstead Harbor, NY. She was buried in the Harbor Hill Cemetery.

She married, 1779, Ridgefield, CT, Nicholas Wilson,^[1] son of Nicholas and Betsey (-----) Wilson. He was born 1759, Hempstead Harbor, NY, and died Mar 1812, Nine Partners, Dutchess Co., NY. He was buried in a Friends' cemetery, perhaps that in Washington, NY.

Phoenix says the following:

... a paper-manufacturer .... They settled at Hempstead Harbor, where he owned a paper-mill. .... He moved to "Nine Partners," Dutchess Co., N.Y., where he died in March 1812. .... His family-record was accidentally lost or destroyed several years ago.

vii.	Hephzibah Wilson, b. 11 Nov 1794, New York, NY; m. Henry EnEarl.
