He married firstly, before 1853, Phebe Jane -----. She was born about 1837, Chautauqua Co., NY, and died between 1855 and 1860.
He married secondly, before 1860, Jane -----. She was born about 1837, NY, and died between 1865 and 1870.
Jane was said in 1865 to be his third wife. His previous wives are not clear, Phebe Jane being probably a first wife.
