Hiram Hardy8 Whitney (Constant Freeman7, Constant6, Barnabas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Constant Freeman7 and Maria Jane Houchins (Colburn) Whitney, was born 11 Mar 1864, Natick, MA,[1] and died 5 Dec 1905, Norwood, MA, aged 40 years 8 months 25 days, of typhoid fever.[2]

He married, 29 Feb 1884, Norwood, MA, Addie P. Baker, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (-----) Baker.[3] She was born about 1863, Boston, MA.

i. Alphonso Hobert9 Whitney, b. 1 Apr 1886, Norwood, MA;[4] m. 30 Jun 1909, Norwood, MA, Bertha Vivian Congdon, b. ca. 1887, Norwood, MA, dau of Charles O. and ----- (Flynn) Congdon.[5]
ii. Hiram Wesley Whitney, b. Mar 1890, MA; d. 6 Oct 1918, Norwood, MA;[6] m. 27 Jan 1914, Norwood, MA, Beatrice Josephine Blanchard, dau. of Robert L. and Josephine (Bates) Blanchard.[7]
