Horatio8 Whitney (David7, Ephraim6, David5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of David7 and Lois (Clapp) Whitney, was born 13 Nov 1798, Boston, MA,[1] and died 31 Apr 1854 [sic], Fall River, MA, aged 55, of heart disease.[2]
On 1 Jun 1815, Enoch Wiswall, Esq., of Watertown, was appointed guardian of Horatio Whitney, son of David Whitney, late of Needham, Norfolk Co., and posted bond with John Hunting and Joseph Peirce, both of Watertown, as sureties.[3]
Marriage intentions were published 5 May 1821, Watertown, MA, for him and Betsey Greenwood.[4] He "of Watertown" married, 4 Jun 1821, Sherborn, MA, Betsey Greenwood,[5] daughter of Reuben and Catherine (Fuller) Greenwood. She was born 12 Dec 1796, Sherborn, MA, and died 27 May 1847, Fall River, MA, aged 50 years 5 months, of a fit.[6]
