He married, 28 May 1872, Brooklyn, NY, Elizabeth Mary Day, daughter of Edward Bliss and Almira (Atkins) Day. She was born 17 Sep 1848, Westfield, MA, and died 29 Mar 1920, Dubuque, IA.
