He married before 1812, Ruth -----.
He is only known from the death record of his son James,[1] and the guardianships of his sons.
He was a baker, and resided in Boston, MA.
Children of Jacob and Ruth (-----) Whitney, possibly incomplete:
i. James Whitney, b. ca. 27 Dec 1812, Boston, MA; m. Lucy Ann Sturgis. i. Samuel Whitney]], b. say 1815, Boston, MA; d. aft. 1818.

He may be identical to Jacob7 Whitney of Boston, who m. Phebe Mitchell, and/or to Jacob Whitney of Boston, who m. Elizabeth Stretch.
