James8 Whitney (Christopher7, Peter6, Ebenezer5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Christopher7 and Mary Ann (Sampson) Whitney, was born 18 Feb 1853, York Mills, ON, and died 14 Apr 1924, York, ON. He was buried in B-Norway Cemetery, Toronto, ON.
He married firstly, 24 Dec 1878, Uxbridge ON, Charlotte Elizabeth Abrahams, daughter of George and Eliza (-----) Abrahams.[1] She was born about 1855, NY, and died 15 Apr 1920, Scarborough, ON.
He married secondly, 1 Mar 1922, Kent Co., ON, Jessie Eugenia B. (Sangster) Smith, daughter of William and Jane (Nichol) Sangster.[2] She was born about 1874 and died about 1950. She had married firstly, 21 Dec 1892, Chatham, ON, George Smith.[3]

James8 and Jessie (Sangster)(Smith) Whitney had no children.
