He married, before 1853, Ruth -----. She was born Nov 1826, VA, and died after 1900.

She married secondly, 31 Mar 1853, Coles Co., IL, Joseph Golliday, son of David and Magdalene (Welsh) Golladay. He was born 4 Mar 1815, Shenandoah Co., VA, and died after 1870, but before 1880. He had married firstly, 30 May 1842, Coles Co., IL, Elizabeth Adkins.
