He married secondly, 1877, Shandaken, NY, Ursula Misner, daughter of George S. and Mary F. (Bodle) Misner. She was born 18 Jan 1857, Smithville, NY, and died 24 May 1888, Shandaken, NY. She is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Pine Hill, NY.[3]
He married thirdly, 22 Oct 1891, Shandaken, NY, Abigail Van Etten, daughter of Rufus and Caroline (Hunt) Van Etten. She was born 1862, Kingston, NY, and died 22 Jun 1923, Shandaken, NY. She is buried in Shandaken Rural Cemetery, Shandaken, NY.[4]
He conducted the Whitney House, hotel in Shandaken, for many years. A Democrat in politics.
