Jesse B. Whitney (Daniel Russel), son of Daniel Russel and Isaphena (Dow) Whitney, was born 11 Apr 1863, Marshall Co., IA, and died 7 Aug 1927, IA. He was buried in Harlan Cemetery, Harlan, IA.[1]

He married, 5 Aug 1891, Shelby Co., IA, Catharine A. "Kate" Martin, daughter of Edward M. and Eliza A. (Goss) Martin.[2] She was born Sep 1869, Keokuk Co., IA, and died 1946. She was buried in Harlan, IA.
