He married, 4 Jul 1853, Delilah Piper, daughter of Simon and Nancy (Warner) Piper. She was born Nov 1834, (prob. Genesee Co.,) NY, and died after 1910. She m.(2) 24 May 1882, Eagle, Clinton Co., MI, Jacob Longyear of Grass Lake, MI.
