Joseph6 Whitney (Joseph5, Joshua4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Joseph5 and Anna (Ames) Whitney, was born about 1793, and died 15 Sep 1840, Granville, NY. He was buried in Lee-Oatman Cemetery, South Granville, NY.[1]
He married, about 1816, NY, Apamia Gould, daughter of Ebenezer and Rhoda (Robbins) Gould. She was baptized 7 Sep 1794, Granville, NY, and died 12 May 1854, Granville, NY, aged 60 years. She was buried in Lee-Oatman Cemetery, South Granville, NY.[2]
