He married 12 Apr 1942, Trenton, MO, Mary L. McClain, daughter of Harve and Bliss (McDonald) McClain. She was born 17 Jan 1923, Trenton, MO, and died 1 Nov 1995, Belvidere, IL.
"Joe Gene" was a Army veteran serving in the WWII. For many years worked at International Harvestor and a member of the Mechanics Labor Union. Mary was a supervisor for Bee-Line fashions for over 17 years, retiring in 1984.
