Joseph Stockbridge6 Whitney (Abraham5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Abraham5 and Apphia (Coombs) Whitney,was born 27 Dec 1802, Lisbon, ME,[1] died (as Joseph "H.") 25 Oct 1867, Augusta, ME, aged 64 years 10 months 28 days.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 31 May 1829, Lisbon, ME, for him "of Lisbon" and Betsy Philbrick "of Vienna".[3] She was born about 23 Jul 1806, ME, and died 19 Jul 1884, Augusta, ME, aged 77 years 11 months 26 days.[4]
