Joshua Berry8 Whitney (Samuel7, John6, (poss.) John5, (poss.) Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Samuel7 and Salome (Berry) Whitney, was born 19 Aug 1817, Dexter, ME, and died 22 Jun 1902, Greenbush, ME, aged 84 years 11 months, of disease of heart.[1]

Intentions of marriage were published 23 Jan 1842, Beverly, MA, for him "of Danvers" and Wealthy Jane F. Estey. He married, 7 Feb 1842, Danvers, MA, Wealthy Jane F. Estey, daughter of Richard and Caroline (Fox) Estey. She was born 24 Jan 1825, Derry, NH, and died after 1910.
