Notes
The death date for his wife Rebecca (Warren) Whitney, 19 Jul 1835, is identical to the recorded death date of another Rebecca (Warren) Whitney, wife of a different Levi Whitney (1780-a1850), which is recorded in Stow, MA. The fact that the 1840 census of Scriba, NY, shows a female 60-69, suggests that his wife died after 1840.
