Rev. Lucius7 Whitney (Cornelius6, Cornelius5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Cornelius6 and Rhoda (Gould) Whitney, was born 15 Jan 1811, Mexico, NY, and died 29 May 1879, Pulaski, NY.

He married, 18 Dec 1836, Clarissa Ingersoll. She was born 12 Dec 1819, and died 1 Sep 1883.

As a minister of the Methodist Episcopal church he served eleven charges covering a period of twenty-five years. He resided North Bay, New York, Oneida County, Sandy Creek and Pulaski, NY.

iv. Emma C. Whitney, b. 26 Feb 1852; m. 17 Oct 1876, Rev. Stephen T. Dibble. He was b. 16 Dec 1851, and since Apr 1878, has been a member of the Northern New York conference of the Methodist Episcopal church. They have resided in the following places all in New York state: West Sandy Creek, New Haven, Hannibal, West Winfield, Gouverneur, and their present home is at Fulton. Children:
a. Walter Whitney Dibble, b. 30 Dec 1881.
b. Henry T. Dibble, b. 24 Jul 1889.
