Lucy⁵ Whitney (Joshua⁴, William³, Joshua², John¹), daughter of Joshua⁴ and Anna (?Blodgett?) Whitney,^[1] was born 28 Apr 1739, Preston, CT^[2], baptized 18 Nov 1739, Preston, CT,^[3] and died after 1777.^[4]

Lucy "of Canaan" married, 16 Jun 1755, Bolton, CT, Jonathan Darte "of Bolton", son of Daniel and Jemima (Shayler) Darte. He was born 10 Jan 1732/33.

i.	Timothy Darte, b. 15 Nov 1756; d. 27 Jun 1814, Gilsum, NH; m. 13 Nov 1776, Bolton, CT, Margaret Taylor, daughter of Thomas and Abigail (Wood) Taylor.
ii.	Jonathan Darte, b. 8 Oct 1758; "Jur. of Bolton" m. 9 Oct 1783, Bolton, CT, Susannah Smith "of Glastenbury."
iii.	Lucy Darte, b. 27 Oct 1760.
iv.	Asahel Darte, b. 30 Sep 1762.
v.	Levi Darte, b. 25 Jul 1764; d. 24 May 1842, Springfield, MA; m. 5 Oct 1790, Bolton, CT, Elizabeth Utley.
vi.	Abiel Darte, b. 7 Apr 1766; m. 23 Aug 1795, Glastonbury, CT, Hoppe Fox.
vii.	Aaron Darte, b. 12 Jan 1768; d. 26 May 1831, Bolton, CT; m. 12 Jan 1789, Bolton, CT, Sarah Bissell.
viii.	Daniel Darte, bapt. 30 Dec 1769.
ix.	Amos Darte, bapt. 1 Sep 1771; d. 19 Mar 1778.
x.	Mabel Darte, bapt. 19 Dec 1773; d. 29 Jun 1853, Shoreham, VT; m. circa 1794, Shoreham, VT, Stephen Newell.
xi.	Joshua Darte, bapt. 10 Aug 1777.
