Luke⁷ Whitney (Josiah⁶, Abraham⁵, Abraham⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Josiah⁶ and Sally (Puffer) Whitney, was born 22 Apr 1803, Harvard, MA,^[1] and probably died after 1892.

Probably he was the Luke Whitney to whom the following records pertain.

He married firstly, 9 Sep 1823, Marlboro, VT, Bathsheba Brown,^[2] daughter of Lyman and Miriam⁷ (Whitney) Brown, and granddaughter of Samuel⁶ and Phebe (Harrington) Whitney. She was born 25 Nov 1804, Marlboro, VT, and died before 1850.

He married secondly, before 1870, Aurilla -----

v.	Brunett Whitney, b. ca. 1837, MA; d. after 1892; m. ----- Mathews.
