He married, 30 Dec 1930, Grundy Co., MO, Miss Farrel L. Brummitt. She was born 18 Nov 1918, Grundy Co., MO, the daughter of Colonel and Ethel (Loney) Brummitt, and died 9 May 1998, at her home, Trenton, MO.
Luther "Peck" Whitney farmed all his life in Grundy County. Farrel Whitney taught school in Grundy and Livingston counties, retiring in 1980.
