Family:Whitney, Marlin Enos (1835-1859)

Marlin Enos⁷ Whitney (Willard Washington⁶, Joshua⁵, Joshua⁴, Cornelius³, Joshua², John¹), son of Willard Washington⁶ and Laura Wheeler (Pearsall) Whitney, was born 20 Mar 1835, Oakland Co., MI, and died Nov 1859, Royal Oak, MI, aged 24, of typhoid fever.^[1][2][3]

He married 9 Jul 1856, Oakland Co., MI, Caroline Ursula Hill Seymour^[4], daughter of David Miller and Caroline Ursula Hill (Parker) Seymour. She was born 4 Jan 1834, Oneida Co., NY. She married secondly 4 Nov 1863, Dr. Jervis Wattles and died 14 Jan 1905, Battle Creek, MI.

Note: Pierce states that Marlin died 22 Nov 1862, but the references below indicate he died Nov 1859.
