Mary4 Whitney (Samuel3, John2, John1), daughter of Samuel3 and Mary (Bemis) Whitney, was born 30 Sep 1689, Watertown, MA,[1] and died 27 Feb 1726/7, Watertown, MA.[2]

She married, 7 Jun 1711, Watertown, MA, John Fiske Jr., "both of Watertown",[3] as his first wife, son of John and Abigail (Parks) Fiske. He was born 15 May 1687, Watertown, MA, and died Nov 1756, Worcester, MA, aged 75 years. He married secondly, 14 Dec 1727, Watertown, MA, Elizabeth Chinery.

Pierce says the following:[4]

MARY [WHITNEY], b. Sept. 30, 1689; m. June 7, 1711, John FISKE, Jr. b. May 15, 1687. She d. Feb. 27, 1726. He d. in Worcester, Mass., Nov. 1756; a short time before his second wife's death. Pierce is wrong about the last two sons, who were by John Fiske's second wife, Elizabeth (Chinery).

She and a cousin also named Mary Whitney are confused by some sources.
