Michael Lunt Whitney (Benjamin, James, [poss.] Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Benjamin and Patience Bracket (Lunt) Whitney, was born 15 Oct 1822, Cumberland, ME, and died 25 Apr 1901, North Yarmouth, ME, aged 77 years 6 months 10 days, of uraemia.[1]

Marriage intentions were published 4 Dec 1847, North Yarmouth, ME, for him and his first wife, Betsey A. Humphrey. He married, 21 Dec 1847, North Yarmouth, ME, Elizabeth Ann Humphrey,[2] daughter of Benjamin and Mary C. (Rice) Whitney. She was born 19 Aug 1827, North Yarmouth, ME, and died Jan 1860, North Yarmouth, ME.[3]

He married secondly, about 1863, Hannah Frances Frank. She was born about 1840, ME, and died after 1900.
