Oliver6 Whitney (Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel5 and Mary (Child) Whitney;[1] born Westborough, MA, Dec 1, 1724;[2] died 18 May 1804, Upton, MA.[3]

Marriage intentions were published 10 Nov 1749, Upton, MA, for him and Dorcas Forbuish "of Westborough".[4] He married 18 Dec 1749, Westborough, MA, Dorcas Forbush,[5] daughter of Thomas and Hannah (Bellows) Forbush.[6] She was born 28 Feb 1727, Westborough, MA,[7] and died about 1811, Upton, MA, in her 85th year.[8]

He saw active service in the Revolutionary war in Capt. Wood's company from Upton. He resided Upton, MA.

iii. Lucy Whitney, b. 18 Oct 1760, Upton, MA;[13] m. (int. 17 May 1805, Shrewsbury, MA[14]) 28 Jun 1805, Upton, MA, Abraham Knowlton "of Shrewsbury".[15]
iv. Ezra Whitney, b. 29 Mar 1763, Upton, MA;[16] m.(1) Mary Forbush; m.(2) Olive Bullard.
v. Jacob Whitney, b. 12 Sep 1767, Upton, MA;[17] m. Patty Whipple.
