Patience5 Whitney (Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of Nathaniel4 and Hannah (Day) Whitney, was born 11 May 1748, Biddeford, ME.[1]

She married firstly, 9 Oct 1766, Gorham, ME, or in Falmouth, ME by Rev. Mr. Samuel Dean, Edward Thomas.[2] He was born circa 1745, possibly Biddeford, ME. He was also known as Edward Thomes.

She married secondly, 8 Sep 1774, Gorham, Maine, Coleman Phinney Watson, son of Eliphalet and Elizabeth (Phinney) Watson. He was born 4 Dec 1751 or 1757, Gorham, ME.

Edward and Patience5 (Watson) Thomas had no children.
