Peter Whitney, parentage unknown (but see note below), was born before 1800, and died after 1830.

He married, before 1832, Mary -----. She was born 18 Aug 1805, NY, and died 29 Jul 1875, Richmond, IL, aged 69 years 11 months 11 days. She was buried in Richmond Cemetery, Richmond, IL.^[1]

Children of Peter and Mary (-----) Whitney, probably incomplete:

i.	Peter Whitney, b. 13 Jun 1832, Fort Ann, NY; m. Harriet Fenner.

Notes

He may be one of the unnamed sons of Isaac⁵ Whitney. Isaac had a daughter who died in Fort Ann, NY.
