Pliny C.7 Whitney (James6, Ezra5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of James6 and Clarissa (Gould) Whitney, was born 30 Jul 1819, VT, and died 15 Jul 1895, Holyoke, MA, aged 76 years, of probably syncope.[1]

He "Plinney C." "of Woodstock, Conn." married, 18 Jun 1850, Greensboro, VT, Nancy A. Lincoln, of Greensboro, VT,[2] daughter of Willard and Elizabeth (Cook) Lincoln. She was born 30 or 31 Oct 1830, Greensboro, VT, and died 19 Oct 1913, Dedham, MA.

i. Elizabeth L.8 Whitney, b. ca. 1851, Woodstock, CT; d. after 1880; m. 15 Jun 1876, Natick, MA, James O. Walker of South Hadley, son of Angus and Catherine (Orr) Walker, b. ca. 1852, Clinton, MA,[3] and d. after 1880.
ii. Florence A. Whitney, b. ca. 1866, CT; not in family in 1880.
