Mary "Polly"⁷Whitney (Samuel⁶, Joseph⁵, Timothy⁴, John³, John², John¹), daughter of Samuel⁶ and Mary (Whitney) Whitney, was born 10 April 1786, Gilsum, NH, and died 17 Apr 1868, Lawrenceville, NY. She was buried in Hill Crest Cemetery.

She married 1811, Gilsum, NH, David Blish, son of David and Lucy (Wilcox) Blish. He was born 1 Nov 1786, Gilsum, NH, and died 15 Nov 1872, Lawrenceville, NY. David Blish was the brother to Hope Blish who was married to Deacon Samuel Whitney, Polly's brother.
