He married, about 1832, PEI, Janet Eliza Warren, daughter of Ebenezer and Jane (Young) Warren. She was born 13 Sep 1812, Three Rivers, PEI, and died 16 Nov 1881, North Esk, NB.

Robert W. Whitney lived at North Esk Parish, NB. He was a farmer.
