He married ----- -----. If the 1820 census record below pertains to this family, then her name was Mary -----, she was born between 1775 and 1794, and she died after 1820.
Samuel Whitney was born in Canaan, CT, and after the death of his father moved to Vermont, where he died quite suddenly of apoplexy. His wife died of consumption. He died in 1814; resided Chittenden County, VT.
