Samuel⁵ Whitney ((perhaps) Samuel⁴, (perhaps) Samuel³, Samuel², Samuel¹), perhaps son of Samuel⁴ and Ruth (-----) Whitney, was born say 1750 and died after 1786.

He, listed as a bachelor, married, 21 Dec 1784, Ruth Mathews, a spinster.^[1]

i.	Marianne6 Whitney, bp. 28 May 1786.[2]
