Seth8 Whitney (William7, William6, William5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of William7 and Anna (Heywood) Whitney, was born 8 Dec 1792, Gardner, MA,[1] and died 22 Oct 1859, Templeton, MA, aged 66 years, of rheumatism.[2]
He married firstly, 23 Apr 1816, Gardner, MA, Sally Wood,[3] daughter of Aaron and Lucy (Jackson) Wood. She was born 7 Mar 1795, Gardner, MA, and died 6 Jan 1825, Gardner, MA, aged 29 years.[4]
He married secondly, 28 Dec 1825, Gardner, MA, Chloe Lincoln,[5] daughter of Daniel and Chloe (Marsh) Lincoln. She was born 28 Dec 1795, Hingham, MA, and died 4 Jan 1855, Gardner, MA, aged 59 years 7 days, of age and palsy.[6]
Seth Whitney was born in Gardner, and was a successful farmer. He was highly esteemed. He resided Gardner, MA.
