Simeon7 Whitney (Amos6, Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Amos6 and Abigail (Springer) Whitney, was born 17 Aug 1800,[1] Bath, ME, and died 21 Mar 1884.
He married firstly, 1825, Rosanna Smith, daughter of John and Faith (-----) Smith. She was born 21 Dec 1800,[2] and died 6 Oct 1845, Moscow, ME.[3]
Marriage intentions were published 4 June 1847, Moscow, ME, for him "Mr." "of Moscow" and his second wife "Mrs." Betsey Goodrich "of Bingham".[4]. He married secondly, before 1848, Mrs. Elizabeth "Betsy" Goodrich. She was born about Dec 1818, ME, and died 12 Apr 1893, aged 84 years 4 months. She may have been the Betsey Spaulding who married, 18 Nov 1830, Bingham, ME, Jonathan Goodrich (1804-1840).
Simeon and both of his wives are buried in the Bingham Village Cemetery, Bingham, ME.
He resided Moscow, Somerset Co., ME in the censuses of 1850 through 1880. He was a farmer.

Whitney, b. 8 Dec 1835, The Forks, ME, or Moscow, ME;[10] d. 21 Aug 1911, Bingham, ME; m. 18 Nov 1858, Moscow, ME, Edward Chase Andrews.[11], the son of James and Lucinda (Daniels) Andrews. He was b. 11 May 1825, Pleasant Ridge Plantation, The Forks, ME; d. 4 Sep 1898, Moscow, ME. They had three children, all b. Moscow, ME: Abbie Estelle, b. 16 Mar 1867;[12] James LaForest, b. 9 Feb 1878;[13] and Ernest Edward, b. 9 Apr 1880.[14] iv. Amos Whitney, b. 1 Feb 1841, Moscow, ME;[15]; d. 6 Jun 1867, MN; "Mr." m. (int. 12 Apr 1865, Moscow, ME) "Miss" Mary Ann Bemiss "both of Moscow".[16]; m. 12 Apr 1865, Moscow, ME, Mary Ann Temple, the daughter of Isaac and Huldah Temple. She was b. 3 Dec 1844, Moscow, ME and d. 14 Oct 1926, Owatonna, MN. They are both buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Owatonna, MN. v. Hannah Evelyn Whitney, b. 22 Feb 1845, Moscow, ME;[17] m. 21 Sep 1862, Moscow, ME, Sylvester Foss,[18] b. 12 May 1837, Concord, NH, the son of Levi and Caroline (Fowler) Foss. Both died in Bingham, ME: he 14 Dec 1912 and she in 1938. Both are buried in the Bingham Village Cemetery, Bingham, ME. Children, all b. Moscow, ME: Lloyd S. Foss, b. 17 Sep 1884[19]; Bertha E. Foss, b. 19 Oct 1864; Blanche Estelle Foss, b. 7 Oct 1870.
