Jump to navigationJump to searchThomas6 Whitney (Ezekiel5, James4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of Ezekiel5 and Patience (Bailey) Whitney, was born say 1804, Catskill, NY, and died 16 Jan 1866, Hunter, NY.
He married three times, but the name of only one of his wives is known: Malvina Minerva Harvey. She was born about 1808, Cairo, NY, and died 24 Sep 1848, Orange, OH.
Phoenix says the following:
- "Thomas Whitney, b. at Catskill, N. Y.; a mason; had three wives, one of whom was Malvina Minerva Harvey, who was born in Cairo, N. Y., about 1808, and died at Orange, Ohio, 24 Sept 1848. He died at Hunter, N. Y., 16 Jan. 1866, age not known."

i. Theodore7 Whitney, b. 28 Oct 1833, Hunter, NY; d. after Sep 1875; m. 24 May 1869, Catskill, NY, Rebecca Halenbeck; res. Athens, NY.
