Timothy Palmer8 Whitney (Timothy Palmer7, Moses6, Ezra5, James4, John3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Timothy Palmer7 and Susanna (Mann) Whitney, was born 26 Dec 1816, Foxborough, MA,[1] and died 8 Jun 188[ ].

He married, before 1838, Emeline8 Whitney, daughter of John Andrews7 and Susan (King) Whitney.[2] She was born 3 Apr 1819, Columbia Co., NY, and died 10 Apr 1882. They were first cousins.

He resided Brooklyn, NY.

ii. James Milton Whitney, b. ca. 1846, New York Co., NY; living 1870, unmarried.
iii. Frederick Palmer Whitney, b. ca. 1849, New York Co., NY; living 1870, unmarried. Possibly the same as "T. P." of the 1880 census, who m. Maria F. -----.
iv. Herbert Whitney, b. ca. 1860, MA; living 1870, unmarried.
