He married, 26 Oct 1852, Barre, MA, Sarah Avaline Hobbs, daughter of William and Elmira (Grimes) Hobbs. She was born 15 May 1833, Hubbardston, MA, and died 27 Aug 1909, Springfield, MA, aged 76, of carcinoma of the liver.[1]
He was listed as a mechanic in the marriage record, then a farmer, and then a manufacturer of wood items.
