William7 Whitney (Nathaniel Ruggles6, Simon5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Nathaniel Ruggles6 and Abigail (Frothingham) Whitney, was born 20 Oct 1795, Watertown, MA,[1] was baptized 25 Oct 1795, Watertown, MA,[2] and died 4 or 6 Jan 1848, aged 52 or 51 years, of paralysis.[3]
Marriage intentions were published 26 Aug 1826, Cambridge, MA, for him and Elizabeth H. White. [4] He married, 10 Sep 1826, Boston, MA, Elizabeth H. White,[5] daughter of Sewell and Betsey (Holden) White. She was born about 16 Sep 1805, Boston, MA, and died 12 Nov 1865, Newton, MA, aged 60 years 1 month 26 days, of dropsy.[6]

Mary Elizabeth Whitney, b. 2 Mar 1837, Cambridge, MA;[11] d. 15 Apr 1849, Cambridge, MA, aged 12 years, of scarlet fever, or d. 13 Apr 1849, Cambridge, MA [given name omitted, recorded at Watertown], aged 12 years, of dysentery.[12]
