William7 Whitney (David6, Benjamin5, Joseph4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of David6 and Susanna (Huntington) Whitney, was born 10 Feb 1800, Tunbridge, VT,[1] and died between 1833 (when a child was born) and 1837 (when his widow remarried).

He married Eliza Hall, daughter of Nathaniel and Olive (Wallis) Hall. She was born 8 Sep 1806, Tunbridge, VT, and died 28 May 1888. She married secondly, 15 Oct 1837, her brother-in-law, Benjamin7 Whitney.

He resided Tunbridge, VT.

i. Anna8 Whitney, b. 5 May 1828, Tunbridge, VT;[2] d. young.
ii. Eliza Whitney, b. 19 Jul 1830, Tunbridge, VT;[3] d. young (according to Pierce); d. after 1850.
iii. Olive Whitney, b. 7 Feb 1832, Tunbridge, VT;[4] m. Charles Curtis; resided Fort Atkinson, WI. Children:
a. Orson Curtis, b. -----.
iv. Susannah Whitney, b. 13 Nov 1833, Tunbridge, VT;[5] m. 13 May 1855, James G. Griffith, Tunbridge, VT.[6] He resided Macon, IL.
