Family:Whitney, William Ayers (1790-1872)
William Ayers8 Whitney (Moses7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Moses7 and Bernice (Locke) Whitney; born 20 Jan 1790, Marlboro, VT,[1] and died 2 Aug 1872. He was buried in the Arms Cemetery, Shelburne Falls, MA.[2]
He married, 28 Sep 1813, Rowe, MA, Cynthia Merrill, of Rowe, daughter of David K. and Delina Juliet (Allen) Merrill. She was born 18 Mar 1786, Rowe, MA, and died 12 or 13 Mar 1853, Shelburne, MA, aged 66 years 11 months 24 days, of disease of the liver.[3] Sje was buried in the Arms Cemetery, Shelburne Falls, MA.[4]
