William Chase9 Whitney (Robert S.8, Ebenezer F.7, Peter6, Abraham5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Robert S.8 and Nancy J. (Chase) Whitney, was born 1 Aug 1863, Litchfield, ME,[1] and died after 1910.

He married, 20 Jun 1886, Richmond, ME, Adeline/Adelaide May Lancaster,[2] daughter of Potter and Nancy E. (Cook) Lancaster. She was born 3 Jun 1866, Richmond, ME, and died 20 Mar 1911, Hadley, MA. She was buried in Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield Plains, ME.[3]

He was of Granby, MA, in 1900; in 1904 he was farmer in Chicopee, MA.

iii. Helen E. Whitney, b. 18 Sep 1897, Chicopee, MA;[5] d. aft. 1910.
iv. Florence A. Whitney, b. 29 July 1904, Chicopee, MA;[6] d. aft. 1910.
